Child Poverty

Child poverty is one of the many social issues which needs to be seriously addressed.

There are some real efforts being made often most effective when private, charitable NGOs and government work together. For example, in tackling the crucial challenge of education, the push for ‘One Laptop’ per child? www.laptop.org is an innovative way of attempting to address the problem.

I have ensured that the views of my constituents have been conveyed to the Government.
